Terrorsum – Just an insight (Mixtape) Review
The first time I heard this guy was during the infamous ‘Mic Fight’ battles. Bully, Startzy and a then relatively unknown Terrorsum came against the Marvell Boys. I remember watching the first round and thinking ‘Oh my God Marvell are killing them!’ and at the end of the battle my opinion didn’t change. Marvell were victorious, their opponents ended up looking like fools apart from one who actually in my opinion managed to take a few jabs and come back with some hooks. His name? Terrorsum.
‘Just an Insight’ is the new Mixtape from Christian King and I must say it surprised me. There are one or two tunes that don’t tickle my fancy but the majority, I really like.
For me Intro’s are extremely important, they set the scene and they should make you want to listen to the rest of the CD. Terrorsum’s intro did just that. It actually was an insight (excuse the pun) and I feel like I know where his head was when he wrote the track, so for me that was a job well done! My brother Komenz and Optic painted the perfect backdrop by creating the beat. Also there is a line I relate to sooo much in the intro ‘I am too honest for my own good’ I totally feel you on that one lol. ( No Homo)
After that track, I skipped to the tune featuring Courtney Bennett, as I am a big fan of her work and sadly I wasn’t blown away like I feel I should have been. Two good artists on one track should result in a very good song but for me this wasn’t.
‘My only love’ is actually my favourite song on the CD. Teeza went in with the beat and Terrorsum went in on the beat. A good colloboration!
There are songs I hear and wish I made them first. ’Avoid the storm’ made me wish like i’ve never wished before. This song is quality. I am assuming King of Slugs are/is on the chorus, It is pretty good I am going to do more research on them. The feature, ‘Dazzle’ I think ruins the song. But hey it’s only my opinion
Lyrically Terrorsum goes in especially on ‘Hearing the talk’, I think this is his best verse on the whole Tape. I love it. But then again the feature on the verse ruins it. But the hook is cool.
I also have to do research on a guy called ‘Blitz’ I would like to work with him in the future (shout at me if you see this lol) the hook and bridge on ‘If it ain’t me’ are both quality. Terrorsum is a genius for putting this collaboration together it really payed off, and if you listen to it and think the collaboration is a ‘fluke’ then listen to ‘Crazy World, Crazy people’ another good song with the same two artists. Actually I am listening to this song as I write this, this is actually my favourite song.
As a whole it is a very good tape, minus most some of the features and one or two songs it is very good. It gains the ‘PeeWee stamp of approval’ and is what I call a ‘must download!’
But don’t take my word for it. Take a listen and judge for yourself. I always feel the need to reiterate the fact my points above are my opinions and my opinions only.

Wireless Festival: My Highlights!!
My legs, lower back, bum cheeks, biceps, triceps, abdominals etc are all aching from yesterdays Wireless Festival. My new trainers look old. My voice is gone. My clothes smell of alcohol due to the tossers behind us throwing bottles and despite all of that It was pretty amazing !!

Ghetts and Kosha in the studio!!!
One of my favourite emcees (Ghetts) and one of my favourite people in general (Komenz) come together with Kosha to make what sounds like is going to be a smash!!! But that is not all, Dubz and Legend Wiley are both set to feature, with that line up it seems like a video is definitely deserved.
Komenz the producer is one of the most down to earth people I know and I fully respect him for that. Hit him up on twitter and as busy as he is he will definitely chat with you mark my words and if you are good enough he may even bless you with some of his talent (musically)
Courtney Bennett
Oblivion is the new song from the multi talented artist by the name of Courtney Bennett, by multi talented I mean she sings, raps, song writes and she engineers herself and on top of that she claims she is super human! I have wanted to work with Courtney for agessssssss but it has failed to happen sadly, so I plan on kidnapping her and locking her in the studio alone with me (and no not he reason you dirty minds are thinking)
